While the small and basic café at Organic Foods & Café is more of a place to stop for a bite to eat while doing your healthy grocery shopping, as opposed to a destination in itself, there’s no denying the food is wholesome, unique and tasty. Throughout the week there’s an à la carte menu available packed full of options for meat eaters, fish lovers, vegetarians, vegans and celiacs alike; whoever crafted the menu was clearly thinking of everyone. Even though there are plenty of naughty options such as burgers and pizzas, you can still feel guilt-free knowing that everything is made using organic products. You can’t even find a fizzy drink with a commercial brand on it – only more obscure, less sugary cans are available here. On the weekend, there’s a buffet brunch available and only a small selection from the à la carte menu; we’d recommend skipping this, as the quality is below average and service can be a little haphazard. Go on a weekday, however, and you’re bound to leave satisfied. Make sure you take the whole family along, too, as there is a graffiti wall for kids to draw on and a special menu for little ones, too.
