Time Out Says

It’s no secret that many of Dubai’s restaurants boast remarkable views. While some use the vistas as as their only selling point, steakhouse Prime68 uses it to complement, not overshadow, its food.

Spaced around the fringes of the entire 68th floor of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai in Business Bay, tables are rightfully set next to the windows to get the most out of the stunning scenes across the Dubai skyline.

Prices are almost as high as the setting, but the dishes are made with quality ingredients.

Kick off with the smoked Angus beef meatballs, paired with a robust marinara sauce bringing out the rich flavours of the meat.

And in terms of steaks, whether it be striploin or rib-eye, Prime68’s cuts are huge. The slabs are butter-soft and dripping with flavour. They’re perfectly seasoned and no sauce is needed to enhance the taste here, just grab your steak knife and dive straight in.

Even vegetarians are in for a brilliant meal, as the Romanesque cauliflower steak, cooked with grilled asparagus, sautéed spinach, sundried tomato and cheese, is an absolute delight.

Service is quick and attentive, even when the restaurant is bustling.

Prime68 is more than just a place to say “I’ve been to the highest steakhouse in Dubai”, it has the wow factor in all areas – and is somewhere you should book into next time you have meat-loving friends or relatives in town.
