Time Out Says
The hundreds of thousands of Iranians in Dubai must be a hungry bunch, as there are dozens of restaurants serving up Persian food in the emirate, and this gigantic structure on the Jumeirah Beach Road may be one of the best known. Rivalling its neighbour, Fatburger, for portion size and dedication to meat, it is a favourite with Iranians but welcoming enough to please any specialty. If you don’t know much about this style of cooking, prepare yourself for kebab overload, with most dishes involving some combination of grilled meats and rice. The jooje kebab masti is a chicken dish marinated with yoghurt and is as juicy and tender as you’re likely to find in the city. For variety, try the khoresht gheimeh, a stew of lamb, split peas and potato. It is likely to be busy any night of the week, but try and book a table during a Persian holiday to see it really buzz.
