Time Out Says

If your idea of going out for a bite to eat is more of a banquet than a quick burger, look no further than Absolute Barbecues.
Despite having two branches – one in Al Sufouh and one in Deira – be prepared to book way in advance to secure a table at this hugely popular (and affordable) spot.

Pay a set price (which varies depending on the day of the week and time of day) and you’ll get unlimited access to a huge buffet of curries, biryanis, breads, grills, salads, desserts and more.

But that’s not all – every table has its own grills in the centre, upon which you can char your own meat, seafood and vegetarian skewers, which just keep being brought to the table until you’re ready to throw in the towel (or rather, napkin).

It’s a lively, family-friendly place and if it’s not the sounds of animated conversation that draws you through the doors, it’ll be the salivation-prompting aroma of those abundant grills.

Come hungry. And be prepared to want to come back often. Fortunately this is one habit that certainly won’t break the bank.
