Time Out Says
Al Hallab is a smart and attractively decorated restaurant with Arabesque gold patterns and dark wood furnishings. It brings a touch of fine dining to Mall of the Emirates, with its white linen tablecloths and well-presented staff. The menu features a classic offering of Lebanese mezze, salads and plenty of grilled meats and fish. It’s definitely worth ordering a selection of starters, with a good range of pastries, kibbeh and halloumi. Those who want to try something a bit more exotic can opt for the boiled brain salad tossed with garlic and olive oil. The mains are essentially grilled meats and fish, shish taouk and kebabs served with rice, side salad and fries. Some of the desserts can be a bit of a let-down, so don’t worry about filling up early. With reasonable prices, attentive staff and a pleasant ambience, this restaurant is worth a visit.
