North Indian cuisine from the state of Uttar Pradesh
Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011This tiny, galley-shaped restaurant serves up North Indian cuisine from the state of Uttar Pradesh, an area famous for its kebabs and rich, spice-filled recipes. Diners will be greeted with smiles, and the manager will take time to talk you through the signature dishes. He recommends the murgh malai tikka – a boneless kebab marinated in cheese as well as the murgh makhani curry – which is just butter chicken. Try the vargi paratha, a pancake made with almonds and cashews – yum! The murgh malai tikka chicken was soft, but the marinade has been known to leave a little residue on the tongue. The crispy and fried vargi paratha is, delicious and the dahl is decent. While the food can be a little disappointing, you'll be more than satisfied with the service – ignore the signature dishes and try the more adventurous options.
