Time Out Says
This casual dining restaurant in Atlantis The Palm isn’t one of the busiest places in the resort, and with plenty of other decent outlets around, it’s easy to see why. With just a few tables dotted around in front of the small kitchen, which guests can see into, you might expect service to be speedy and personal. In reality, staff seem confused by the ordering process, despite it simply involving ticking off a menu item on a slip of paper, and food arrives sporadically. Perhaps due to the size of the place, staff spend most of their time outside the eatery, making it hard to capture their attention. Although menu items are on the cheap side, they are hardly cheerful; you’ll find yourself in a bit of a hit and miss situation if you don’t come armed with recommendations. Try the wasabi prawns with mango salsa, which is one of the best options, or one of the noodles or rice dishes. The food will satisfy you following a trip to the Aquaventure waterpark, which is situated next door, but don’t expect to be blown away by the experience, which may leave you feeling flat.
