Time Out Says

Defying all stereotypes afforded to hotel lobby restaurants, this classy French-style café is more refined than most of its Mall of the Emirates counterparts and serves up surprisingly quality food. Menus are displayed on iPads and the service is swift. The in-house baked welcome bread is by far the best we’ve tasted in the city; a basket of personal-sized baguette-style loafs with twisted ends and an unbelievable amount of crunch. Start with the warming lobster bisque – the broth is ceremoniously poured over the medallions of lobster at the table. The quinoa salad is somewhat bland and could do with some seasoning or dressing, but there are plenty of other options. One must-try is the beef cheek risotto; the melt-in-your-mouth meat has been slowly stewed and it pairs perfectly with the creamy, rich bed of saffron-infused rice it sits on. Be sure to drop in here the next time you hit the shops.
