Time Out Says
Like the hotel in which it is located, this restaurant is pretty palatial. The ceiling is draped in tented fabric, which gives the impression of being in an opulent majlis. There’s also an outdoor terrace with more than decent views. Unfortunately, that’s as good as this place gets. Shisha is available, but the lack of ventilation means that thick smoke lingers. On our last visit, we were advised only set menus were available although there was no mention of this on the phone or website. What the set menus do allow is for diners to try a whole host of hot and cold mezze, grilled mains and desserts – and plenty of them, too. Service isn’t perfect, with the staff at times forgetful and also unable to give details about many of the dishes on offer. One positive is the live musicians and belly dancer, who are a definite plus.
