Time Out Says

You get considerably more at Balance Café than first impressions might suggest. The inauspicious mall location without much of a view belies the quality and range of food available. Take your pick from sandwiches, wraps, soups and zesty salads, not to mention a good variety of more substantial mains such as grilled fish, steak, chicken, curry and Asian rice, noodle and tofu dishes. Everything is accompanied by calorie and nutritional information, and while we can’t verify that it’s accurate, it’s nice to be able to judge what you’re about to tuck into. Portions are well balanced and flavours remarkably good, so if you don’t mind putting up with slightly chaotic and rather slow service, Balance Café is an altogether decent and affordable option in simple yet bright and cheery surroundings.
