Time Out Says
The restaurant (turned club by just before midnight) feels like it was pulled straight out of the ’50s. Red booths line the walls, its darkly-lit room only brightened by red neon lights, a projector playing black and white films overhead – it’s moody and romantic.
And the venue is full of couples laughing and enjoying their grub. Speaking of, its menu is filled with North American favourites.
From cheese boards and deli platters to fresh picks from its raw bar, Barbary does a fine job of sharing platters.
Its list of mains (and certainly sides) are no different, offering wealthy portions for prices that won’t make you keel over.
The food might not be the best you’d had, but the smooth vibes and setting more than make up for that.
Plus, stay long enough and there’s the added bonus of partying the night away.
If you haven’t booked a table for dinner yet, and have only visited late a night, take a chance and try it for dinner, you won’t be disappointed by this quirky spot in Barsha Heights.
