Barracuda Restaurant

Time Out Says

A year on from our last visit to Barracuda and the same problem remains: you’ll need to make sure you clear your diary before visiting here, because service is slow. We had to wait 15 minutes before even being offered a drink on our visit and a quick bite at lunch turned into a two-hour marathon. It’s a shame because the wait aside, Barracuda is a great place to eat. The decor inside and out is fun – the big barracuda tail sticking out of the roof fits in perfectly with the laidback vibe of Jumeirah Beach Road – and the food is generally excellent and fresh, as they serve fish caught the same day. Portions are huge and the menu vast, covering most types of seafood, plus plenty of traditional Arabic dishes. They’re generous with the dips and breads as well.
