Time Out Says

We suspect this light and airy Lebanese restaurant would receive more business if it weren’t on the ‘wrong’ side of The Walk at JBR. Located up the stairs from the busy beachside promenade, overlooked by the sand-coloured Amwaj residential towers, it can lack a bit of buzz depending on when you visit; lunchtimes are very quiet although things pick up a bit in the evenings. Grab a table on the outdoor terrace if it’s not too hot; otherwise take a seat indoors with a view of the open kitchen. Diners can expect all the Arabic classics on the menu – salads, mezze, grills, kebabs, fish and seafood – and while the food is by no means spectacular, it’s decent enough, reasonably priced and served in hearty portions, all brought to the table by amiable, if a little bored-looking staff. Will the experience be good enough to warrant a return visit? Well, if you live in the vicinity, it might.
