Time Out Says
This laidback surf-themed venue is a popular spot to watch a game on Saturday afternoon and it serves up large helpings of decent Antipodean-themed pub food. Located on Palm Jumeirah’s Shoreline, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options including booths, long tables and seats at the bar. The behemoth Aussie-style Bidi Bondi burger is stacked with beef, a fried egg, beetroot, salad and melted cheese and is served up alongside creamy coleslaw. South African-inspired options include boererwors with mashed potato along with more standard dishes for meat lovers including lamb chops and braised beef short ribs, which are smothered in a sweet barbecue sauce. The Bondi BBQ meat platter is great for sharing, featuring basted chicken wings, boererwors, lamb cutlets, pacific rump and beef ribs alongside chunky chips. If it’s casual dining with a buzzing atmosphere you’re after, you can’t go wrong here.
