Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009The concentration of Indian eateries in Karama can overcome the curry hunter, and the packed, frenzied and humid front room of Bikanervala on a weekend could overcome anyone.
Head for the airier back room and try to flag down a waiter. Despite the harried service, the food offers a decent taste of the north west, crammed with street-food-style dishes like onion utappam, raj kachori, bhalla papri and papri chaat.
These chaat combinations – small papadis, corn kachoris and lentil vadas topped with hot, sweet chutneys and potatoes – are the house speciality, and rightly so.
