Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009A sleek and seriously hip French eatery is bound to attract Dubai’s select crowd and that’s certainly the case at Bistro 21, where a cooler-than-thou gang of young twenty-somethings lounge around sipping cappuccinos.
Bright and spacious, the place has a laid-back atmosphere helped along by battered second-hand books, glossy mags and newspapers. Though it’s an ideal spot just for coffee (grab a seat outside to avoid a noisy coffee machine), the street-level bistro under the shadow of the 21st Century Tower serves up a fine selection of food options in hearty portions, like crab cakes and crunchy brushetta.
But the pièce de résistance has to be a slice of the tart and richly decadent dark chocolate cake.
