Time Out Says

In the same vein as chefs Vineet Bhatia, Sanjeev Kapoor and Atul Kochhar, and restaurants like Rang Mahal and Trésind, the chefs at Bombay Brassie have managed to prove, yet again, that there is no limit to what can be achieved with Indian cuisine. It is at this expansive, brightly-hued and wonderfully decorated restaurant that we have enjoyed one of our official top dishes of the year – the cochin lobster curry, which boasts perfectly cooked chunks of the shellfish in a creamy, subtly spiced, coconut milk-based sauce, that will have you dreaming of it for weeks. Bombay Brasserie doesn’t seem to be overly popular, however, so the atmosphere suffers a little. Go with a fun group of your own, though, and we’d be surprised if you didn’t have an excellent experience.
