Time Out Says

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011
Café Céramique is first and foremost a wacky workshop, which lets you unleash your painting skills on a cornucopia of crockery. You don’t have to be Picasso to participate – just grab a table, pick up a brush and let loose on an unsuspecting pot or three (while covertly reliving the famous Patrick Swayze scene from Ghost). The painting certainly works up an appetite, but the food is sadly as sparse as van Gogh’s left ear! The beefy French onion soup isn’t a bad starter, but steer clear of the avocado tornado salad. The vinaigrette dressing tasted suspiciously as if it came from an errant paint tub. A Thai chicken bagel, doused in earthy satay sauce, is well worth a try, as is the lumpy strawberry cheesecake, which is guaranteed to give you a pretty lengthy sugar high. Café Céramique is definitely a place to bring your kids to. A fun family outing, with average grub, in a phenomenal setting.
