Tasty Indian fare in the middle of busy Deira

Time Out Says

Situated in the heart of Deira’s buzzing streets, this branch is not as plush as its Zabeel Road sister outlet, but it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal with tourists in tow. Beware the temptation to order a less-than-sensible amount of food if you are on the go – dishes are so moreish, you are sure to lick your plate clean. If you can, put the consequences for your waistline to one side and enjoy a menu with variety for both vegetarians and lovers of ‘non-veg’ cuisine. Stand out veg options include tadka dal and tomato-rich kadai vegetables. Meat-eaters should opt for excellent mutton courses. Give this place a miss if you don’t like oily curries as the chef uses a lot of ghee in his dishes. If you’re not familiar with Indian cuisine, staff are happy to make recommendations from an extremely reasonably priced selection.
