The original Mirdif branch now has a hip new sister in buzzing Downtown. Leila is the place to be, with a vibrant atmosphere and a kitchen offering an authentic variety of classic Lebanese dishes in a charming interior. Roses adorn the menu, and the tablecloths and chairs are kitsch in a good way, without being over the top. Service is very fast and staff are friendly and polite, although this can slip slightly during busy times. No matter what you order, you’re sure to be happy as every dish tastes like a home-cooked meal, delicious and filling and beautifully presented. The terrace is always packed, and they don’t take reservations for al fresco dining, so get there early for prime position, especially during the cooler months. And don’t worry, the bill won’t make too much of a dent in your pocket.
