Ducati Caffe

Time Out Says

Opposite the action on the Dubai Ice Rink, with outdoor seating in the walkway of The Village, you’ll find this motorcycle-themed haven. But this is no homage to Easy Rider – it’s all sparkling glitz and glamour around a superbike leaning provocatively on its pedestal. The minimal, monochrome decor is punctuated by colourful artwork on the wall – all motorcycle-themed, of course – creating an ultra-modern feel. Staff are lively, helpful, happy to recommend dishes and suggest alternatives if they’re not quite right. Portions are sizeable and cheese certainly isn’t used sparingly. The home-made seafood tagliatelle comes smothered in creamy white sauce with a very generous helping of parmesan on top, while the paper-thin pizza bases are unable to cope under the weight of a thick layer of cheese. If the plan is to buy a Ducati, this is a great place to refuel. Otherwise there are much better options in the mall.
