Excellent deli with take-away and sit-in dishes
Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011Bizarrely housed inside a five-star Thai hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, the Dusit Deli is an unlikely place for an Italian-American banquet, but when you close your eyes it really does feel like you’re in downtown New York. The novel Dusit Deli offers 24-hour dining and is widely known for its signature doughnut and bagel breakfasts and Philly cheese steaks. The portions are huge, but this definitely isn’t bargain street-grub. For a deli, the prices aren’t cheap, but the food is worth paying for. Don’t expect to leave thin either, especially not if you try the farcically large double-decker club sandwich or crunchy crab burger. If you arrive a little crabby, you should also order the strong Italian coffee, which is guaranteed to perk you up all week, or the yummy multi-coloured fruit smoothies. It’s also worth noting their free wireless for those who want to multi-task.
