Time Out Says
There are not many pubs in Dubai, nay the world, where you can pull up a stool at the bar, order a cold one alongside a plate of miso black cod. And, that’s not the only premium ingredient elevating the menu – there are lobster tacos, sliced summer truffle pizza, wagyu beef burgers, short rib sliders and some homemade boule de chocolat. The food is so out of the ordinary you may need to remind yourself you’re actually in a perfectly normal bar. Every dish we’ve tried is spot on and that black cod, while not reaching the heights of the masters at the city's top Japanese restaurants, is a pretty good effort.
It’s not just savoury plates that shine here, though, as the pastry section in the kitchen are punching above their weight with a top apple pie-crumble mix, homemade baked chocolate mousse and fig and pecan tart. While breakfasts include shakshoukha, coconut chia pots and homemade granola.
A surprisingly good bar food menu, that's worth a try.
