Time Out Says

Definitely more of a takeaway place than a sit-in dining option, Eat and Drink Cafeteria serves up cheaper-than-chips Arabic fare that’s pretty decent considering the pittance it costs. Don’t get confused by the name change – it used to be called the Food and Drink Cafeteria and there are a whole host of them in various spots throughout the city. On our visit, the Barsha branch was full, so much so that two diners waited patiently outside to grab our table when we left. That doesn’t mean that the place is swarming; it’s just that there are only four tables inside, so it gets packed pretty quickly. Staff stand around the tables, as they literally have no other place to go, and it all definitely feels a bit squashed. That being said, service is super quick, the food is decent and the miniscule bill will be the cherry on the top.
