Time Out Says
Arriving at the traditionally (and lavishly) decorated Persian restaurant at the Palazzo Versace Dubai, we’re disheartened to see it very quiet, but given it took three attempts to book a table, we aren’t too worried. And sure enough, families started to flock in – and our expectations are fittingly high.
Seated at our spacious tables on vintage Persian chairs, we’re already impressed with the staff and their knowledge.
And dishes match up. You can opt for a three-course sharing menu for Dhs190, or go à la carte. Meats come with a twist, especially the kebabs, creatively served on mini grills. The meat is juicy, tasty and tender, though the wagyu beef doesn’t quite sit with the traditional Persian tales we’re told.
The veggie side of the menu is vast, and Enigma’s beetroot options steal show, with its yoghurt being a must-try with a vibrant colour and subtle hint of cumin.
A Persian experience worth booking.
