Time Out Says

This non-descript French café chain is tucked away in a slightly less hectic area of The Dubai Mall and serves up giant-sized portions of café standards including sandwiches, salads and pasta. There are a host of breakfast options, including eggs Benedict with smoked salmon or turkey as well as a number of lighter meal options and heavier dishes. The traditional onion soup, served in a crusty bread bowl and topped with stringy mozzarella cheese, is a popular choice, and it’s pumped out of the kitchen at quite a rate. A goat’s cheese salad is given flair with strawberries, pine nuts, apricots and raisins, which perfectly balance out the acidity of the balsamic vinaigrette. The salmon and jumbo shrimp pasta comes with capers, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan and basil and a creamy sauce that is on the rich side. For dessert, there’s a selection of French pastries including pain perdu, a vanilla and brown sugar seared brioche, or the warm Nutella and banana crêpe with whipped cream.
