Beef burgers with sweet potatoes
Preparation time: 30 minutes
800g sweet potato
800g ground beef
1tbs fresh ginger
100g mango chutney
1⁄2 bunch of lettuce
6 hamburger buns
Olive oil (your own)
Salt (your own)
Black pepper (your own)
1 Preheat oven to 225˚C.
2 Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into wedges.
3 Put in an ovenproof dish, drizzle with one tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
4 Cook in oven for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the wedges.
5 Mix the ground beef with two pinches of black pepper and two pinches of salt. Form six burgers from the ground beef and fry in a bit of olive oil on medium heat for three minutes on each side.
6 If you want the burgers well done, lower the heat, cover with a lid and fry for 3-4 more minutes.
7 Grate the ginger so that you get one tablespoon and mix with yoghurt and mango chutney.
8 Slice the cucumber, tomatoes and onion, clean and part the lettuce.
9 Serve together with the beef burgers, buns, chutney sauce and sweet potato wedges.
