Dubai Food Festival ultimate guide

Host of foodie events hosted under new festival banner

We’ve hosted Dubai Shopping Festival for 19 hugely successful years, and now the Dubai Food Festival is set to join the ranks of enormous annual city-wide events. Kicking off for the first time on Friday February 21 and running over 23 days until Saturday March 15, the gastronomic fiesta takes place all over town across four weekends, and includes events such as the inaugural Dubai Food Carnival and The Big Grill, Taste of Peru and finally Taste of Dubai, with many more foodie activities crammed in between.

Expect to be able to get your mitts on everything from street food to five-star fine dining during the festival, which is the brainchild of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, put together to highlight the city’s standing as the culinary capital of the region. Of course, as with any festival, there’s a whole lot more going on than just the opportunity to chow down – and visitors are set to be treated to live music from international acts, cooking challenges, food photography workshops and much more.
