Chef and author Greg Malouf will take part in three events showcasing modern Middle Eastern cooking. At the Friday Literary Lunch (Dhs250 per person, Friday March 7, 1pm, Terra Firma restaurant), attendees can sample the creations of Malouf, while he and his co-author Lucy Malouf discuss the origins of the cuisine and recount tales that inspired their exotic cookery books.
Later, at 6.30pm, the duo will host an interactive session on Dubai’s restaurant and culinary culture (Dhs65 per person). The following day (Dhs65 per person, Saturday March 8, 11.30am) Malouf will join high profile
chefs and food writers for The Foodie Panel, looking at how and why food became such a popular subject for television shows.
