Prakash Seetul, executive chef at The St. Regis Doha shares his secrets to making a mouth-watering burger.
1 Mix together ground lean beef and ground beef with approximately 20 percent fat.
2 Place cling film over a round mold and press the ground beef into it to make the patty shape.
3 Season the meat on both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.
4 Brush with a little vegetable oil and cook on a hot barbecue, grill or heavy based pan.
5 Split a burger bun, spread with butter and toast it until it turns golden. Add tomato sauce or mayonnaise to both sides of the toasted bun. On one side of the bun, add chopped lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, the cooked burger and a slice of cheese. Top with the other half of the bun and enjoy.
