How long have you lived in Dubai?
Seven months – I moved here from New York where the original Junoon location is.

Where do you like to hang out in Dubai when you're not at work?
I brought my bike with me from New York so I like to take long rides around town.

What's your top tip for visitors to Dubai?
Come during the winter months and know where you're going before you get in a cab.

What one thing would you like to do in Dubai that you haven't done before?
I’d love to explore Old Dubai, and take an abra down the creek.

What career journey did you take before joining your restaurant?
Before I started working in restaurants I was a musician.

Why should Time Out readers try your restaurant?
Not only do we offer the best expression of Indian cuisine both traditional and modern in Dubai, we also offer one of the best Vine(Grape) Programs, with literally the best service in town, hands down.

What's the best thing about dining at your restaurant in 2015?
The culinary experience as a whole is just outstanding from start to finish. However, we also have the greatest staff - from the cooks to the captains.

What's your dish recommendation at your restaurant?
Saloni Macchi – which is cape shark tikka served with beet korma, sea foam and raw beet.
