Where do you like to hang out in Dubai when you’re not at work?
Anywhere near the Sea water. I love spending time at the beach or near the water during my time off.
What’s your top tip for visitors to Dubai?
Have fun but be respectful of the local culture. Even though there is a lot of western culture that is now in Dubai, there is a lot to learn and see from old Dubai including the Gold and Spice souks.
What one thing would you like to do in Dubai that you haven’t done before?
Driving in the desert sand dunes.
What career journey did you take before joining your restaurant?
I was Development Chef for Strada Restaurants in the UK for 5 years before I started working for Carluccio's.

We are consistent in our offerings, for example we prepare the best Focaccia bread for our visitors every morning - its delicious if I do say so myself. Other signatures include Penne Giardiniera, Pumpkin Tortelli, Gnocchi pulled beef, Salmon Pesto, Passion fruit and strawberry meringue, and Amarena cherries by "Fabbri". We also offer something for everyone from our kids menu to our deli selection.
What’s the best thing about dining at your restaurant in 2015?
We have a lot of choice and are open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Additionally, we believe we offer a true Italian offering bringing our guests a slice of Italy.
What’s your dish recommendation at your restaurant?
Homemade Lasagna with lobster, crab and prawns. If you are looking to recreate our dishes at home, then our deli is the place to shop for tasty sauces and exquisite pasta.
