The Hive Brunch review

Latest The Hive Brunch review, the Warehouse brunch, a new brunch in Dubai for 2016. Includes details, start time, hours and restaurant information

Warehouse is synonymous with partying. So you won’t be surprised to hear that The Hive Brunch is one for those looking to have fun, and affordable fun at that.

At Dhs259 all in, with no other package available, it’s clear what the priority is here. And people certainly make the most of it. Expect to see big tables occupied by groups of sometimes 20 or more. Fortunately, this is a large venue, with seating downstairs, upstairs and outside, so there’s room for everyone to spread out. The layout also builds an excitable, bordering on rowdy, atmosphere.

There’s a wide variety of drinks available here. A range of hops (bottle and draught), grape, mixed beverages and shorts are constantly brought around by the staff.

Unsurprisingly, food isn’t the main focus of the offering. There’s a decent selection, but it isn’t replenished often and there’s the likelihood that popular dishes will be gone by the time the brunch reaches half time. So be quick to make the most of the salads, sushi, sashimi, cheese selection and dessert room. But outside is where you’ll find the most interesting cuisine. Live cooking stations churn out pastas, burgers, ribs and curries, with a couple of drink stations dotted around, too. There’s also a DJ outside, making it a welcome break out zone.

A special mention must go out to the staff, who smile and joke as they play along with the guests enjoying the brunch. So if you’re looking for a place to party with a young crowd, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better option for under Dhs300.
