ADCB have teamed up with Rotana across the Middle East to help you enjoy some of the most popular restaurants in your city at a discounted rate.
The full list of hotels and their respective outlets taking part can be found below, but here are the Time Out six of the best.
This quirky restaurant is characterised by its eccentric decor; you’ll find a fish pond that can be traversed by a bridge and fake wooden houses. With a menu divided into sections splitting Thai cuisine past, present and future/fusion, stick to the traditional and the food is competent and pleasant.
Open daily noon-3pm, 6.30pm-11.30pm. Al Bustan Rotana, Garhoud. (04 282 0000)
Rodeo Bar & Grill
Nestled beside the huge atrium in Al Bustan Rotana, this sleek, elegant venue belies its Wild West name. The usual steakhouse staples are present, from the dark-wood décor to the fiery open kitchen dominating one end of the restaurant, while staff are friendly and efficient. The menu offers a glimpse of Rodeo’s ambitions: alongside the usual cuts of aged US steak and wagyu sit more unusual options, with creative sauces and interesting combinations that help to lift this above your usual American meat emporium.
Open daily noon-3pm, 7pm-midnight.
A well-known Japanese chain, Benihana’s most pleasant branch can be found in the Amwaj Rotana hotel on JBR’s The Walk. Adjacent to hugely popular Italian eatery Rosso, the Asian restaurant also benefits from a steady crowd most evenings. Both sushi and teppanyaki options are pleasant and enjoyable enough, and on theme nights (particularly the all-you-can-eat events on certain evenings during the week) you’ll find this is a great value for money spot.
Open weekdays 5pm-midnight, weekends 12.30pm-12.30am. Amwaj Rotana, Dubai Marina (04 428 3089)
It’s quite refreshing to visit an Italian restaurant that isn’t trying to cram every single Italian stereotype into its dining area. Prego’s has opted for a minimalist design, with lots of red and clean lines. It makes for a relaxing setting.
Open daily noon-3.30pm, 6pm-10.30pm. Media Rotana, Barsha Heights (04 435 0000)
Considering its rowdy weekend persona, Long’s does make a surprisingly decent place to dine. The USP is its dining area, a separate restaurant-style section set back from the DJ and dancefloor, which adds a touch of class to your bar food, of which there's a huge selection on offer.
Open daily noon-02.30am. Towers Rotana, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 312 2202)
With options from Thailand, China, Italy and India the choice of food is great. They even have a sushi menu and the standard is consistently high. The ambience is always good – a large dose of chatter and laughter makes this a good place for a party.
Open daily 6pm-02am. Towers Rotana, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 343 8000)
