New restaurant from Michelin-starred chefs to open in Dubai

Famous Harrods café from the Galvin brothers comes to City Walk

A new restaurant from the UK’s Michelin-starred Galvin Brothers will open in Dubai on March 12.

Demoiselle by Galvin is set in City Walk, adding to the already flourishing café scene in the area.

It is a sister branch to the already-successful venue in London’s famous Harrods, in the swanky Knightsbridge area of the English capital.

It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will be headed up by Chris and jeff Galvin’s protégé executive chef Luigi Vespero.

Bread and sweet treats will be baked daily onsite and will be available for takeaway as well as to eat in.

The two-storey building will also have a salon de thé where Dubai’s diners can indulge in afternoon tea.

Jeff Galvin says: “We are tremendously excited for the launch of Demoiselle by Galvin in Dubai -- our very first venture outside the UK. We have been exploring our expansion to the UAE for more than seven years and all of the elements are in place – location, team, partner, menu, and interiors – to create a timeless experience in a very modern city.”

“With a love of shopping and celebrating over good food with family and friends, Dubai is the ideal market for Demoiselle by Galvin, and our first international opportunity to share our passion for classic cuisine, service, and customer focus,” said Chris Galvin.

Demoiselle by Galvin is the Galvin brothers’ 11th venue from the Galvin brothers, who hold a Michelin star at Galvin at Windows in London’s Hilton on Park Lane.
