The best restaurants in Dubai have been revealed at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2018 - here are the top places for European food

WINNER: folly by Nick & Scott

A creative and modern restaurant from chefs Nick Alvis and Scott Price. There are a variety of dining areas, including a spectacular terrace with expansive views across Madinat Jumeirah. However, for a one-off dining experience, book into The Kitchen Bar for a tasting menu of signature dishes that will blow you away.

HIGHLY COMMENDED: Bread Street Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay is a famous name for a reason – his restaurants are excellent. This Atlantis eatery is consistently great, especially if you’re after some British comfort food. The beef Wellington is especially good.

An established spot in Bur Dubai that serves up the very best Greek food in town.

Boasts a lovely location by the sea and a great selection of Spanish and Italian cooking. A really romantic spot, but you’ll pay a premium for it.

Restaurant and Lounge European fine dining in the world’s tallest building. Stunning food in a stunning location.

The kitchen gets these sharing dishes just right. A great place to pop in for a few bites and drinks, and an equally good place to dig into an inventive and fresh Spanish-influenced menu.

Serves some delicious British classics like fish and chips and hearty roasts. The venue is pretty spectacular, too.

Enjoy contemporary European dishes from British Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton. The sourdough pizzas are top, as are the risottos and grills. Take a seat on the terrace for views over Dubai Marina.

A casual, friendly Greek taverna in JLT with typically whitewashed walls and a petite terrace. Dishes are decent and include grills and mezze.

Celebrity chef Tom Aikens is behind this family-friendly spot. Excellent flavours and traditional dishes are great for sharing.
