The best restaurants in Dubai have been revealed at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2018 - here are the top outdoor restaurants

WINNER: Boardwalk

If you haven’t taken a mosey on down to Dubai Creek then this is an ideal pit-stop. With a massive terrace jutting out over the water, the views are sublime. The vibe is deeply laid-back and it’s the perfect place for a winter afternoon soaking up the sunshine. Order a pizza and sit back and admire the views.

HIGHLY COMMENDED: folly by Nick & Scott

The winner of our European Restaurant of the Year also has a cracking outdoor area. Relax and take in the scene across the Madinat from the pretty terrace while sipping on a sundowner.

HIGHLY COMMENDED: Pai Thai

The terrace at this classy Thai restaurant is lovely. And the best bit? You arrive by abra. Disembark, take your seat and watch the boats glide by as you dig into pad Thai.

Boasts a lovely location by the sea and a great selection of Spanish and Italian cooking. A really romantic spot, but you’ll pay a premium for it.

SHORTLISTED: Asado

Beautiful venue, impressively authentic food (think steak and goat meat) and some great fish dishes.

This two-tier venue offers an upstairs pizzeria and terrace, and fine dining space downstairs.

One of the prettiest outdoor settings you can find, with twinkling fairy lights, white washed furnishings and a beachside setting. Dishes can be a bit hit or miss though.

This Lebanese seafood joint expertly cooks the freshest fish, served up in a seafront setting at Club Vista Mare. Take a seat on the terrace and unwind with some freshly grilled seafood.

SHORTLISTED: Key West

An excellent Caribbean/Floridian restaurant complete with laid-back island vibes. Set right on the beach with unfettered views out to sea, this is a chilled-out place to kick back. The food is excellent, from jerk chicken, to ribs and juicy grilled prawns.

A beach shack serving barbecued fish. A charming slice of beach life, with prime views across the ocean. Sit back and enjoy the sand in between your toes.
