The best restaurants in Dubai have been revealed at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2018 - here are the best places for seafood

WINNER: Ossiano

Seafood, under the sea. Not literally, but it’s as close as you’re going to get, thanks to the massive floor-to-ceiling aquarium that covers one huge side of this classy Atlantis The Palm restaurant. Not just for tourists – though most certainly one for the to-visit list if you’re in Dubai – this stunning restaurant serves up equally admirable seafood dishes. All are beautifully prepared and of exceptional quality. Push the boat out and try the tasting menu, it’s pricey but it won’t let you down. See our review on page 35.

A Lebanese seafood spot expertly cooking up the freshest fish. The terrace is delightful.

HIGHLY COMMENDED: The MAINE Oyster Bar & Grill

This cool seafood restaurant is taking a Highly Commended gong for the second year running. A great vibe and delcious dishes.

SHORTLISTED: Alto Mar

Quaint harbourside fish restaurant that serves up top-quality fresh fish. Some inventive dishes, all delightful. Charming setting and worth a look.

SHORTLISTED: Café Belge

A 1920s, jazz age-themed Belgian restaurant. Art Deco stylings and excellent seafood are order of the day.

SHORTLISTED: Catch Dubai

A seriously cool restaurant serving excellent and inventive seafood, sushi, fresh grills and more. Hailing from New York, the vibe is trendy and the décor is urban chic. One to visit.

SHORTLISTED: Nathan Outlaw at Al Mahara

Michelin-starred chef Nathan Outlaw serves up some top shellfish this Burj Al Arab venue. Dine next to an aquarium for a unique experience.

The place that comes up when anyone asks about a romantic restaurant in Dubai. The setting is stunning and looks out to sea.

SHORTLISTED: Sea Fu Restaurant

An excellent Asian seafood restaurant that boasts sea views and delightful dishes. There’s also a good ladies’ night deal (where you’ll get three courses and a bottle of sparkling for Dhs125 a head) and happy hour offers at the bar.

SHORTLISTED: The Atlantic

This chic seafood restaurant has some excellent dishes, some top deals and a stunning view of The Dubai Fountain.
