Glasshouse Brasserie - Hilton Dubai Creek

An unremarkable venue offering a decent yet pricey mishmash of dishes

Time Out Says

The Hilton’s self-proclaimed Mediterranean restaurant is, in fact, a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to cuisine type. You’ll find South Asian vegetable pakoras and Chinese wantons listed under starters, for instance, and English fish and chips and Arabic shish taouk among the mains. It’s for this reason that the menu reads more like one you’d expect when ordering room service, although we should add that the standard is, as you’d rightly expect, somewhat higher. Dishes such as the baked cod with smoked mash and the grilled jumbo prawns served with your choice of side are decent yet, truth be told, nothing special, and not on a par with the high prices. The cold interior, too, is unremarkable with its metal columns and frosted glass floors, and while the better-than-average service raises the bar, you may well leave wishing you’d dined at one of the hotel’s other, superior venues. Still, look out for the venue’s frequent buffet and drinks deals.
