Time Out Says

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011
Unfortunately, you have to walk through a food court to get to Great Kabab Factory – which gives you a very false impression of what to expect. Firstly, this is a restaurant, rather than a fast food counter. Tucked around the corner, luckily the eatery faces outside and a random fountain, which helps matters, as does the painted ceiling above it.

Secondly, diners opt for the Dhs89 buffet here, which involves waiters, dressed in ‘factory’ overalls, constantly adding more to your plate, straight from the tandoor or grill. Among the morsels are Hyderabadi burgh tikka, tandoori phal, dahl, chicken, rice, even battered sweetcorn and battered apple and pineapple. Staff are extremely attentive, so much so that they almost look hurt when you leave after eating your fill. Not due to lack of business, the large Indian families at the other tables prove this isn’t a concern, but it seems that they genuinely care. Not like a regular mechanised factory at all, then.
