Time Out Says
Helio Lounge has certainly stuck to the theme when it comes to the decor. This casual dining lounge is decked out with hieroglyphics and traditional Egyptian fabrics. The cuisine, too, plays heavily on the Egyptian theme, with some Mediterranean dishes available, too. Some Arabic staples such as hummus and sambusak can also be found on the menu, but there is a lack of description when it comes to some of the more traditional Egyptian dishes, which can cause some confusion. The staff, too, sometimes struggle to explain the dishes, but the food is hearty and enjoyable. Fatta – an Egyptian main of roasted chicken with rice and a tomato sauce – is a very satisfying and generously-portioned dish. Helio overlooks the marina and has a casual dining style, which makes it good for laidback lunches.
