Time Out Says

Sleek and modern in design, with an open kitchen that lets you spy on the chefs, this eatery is a great place for a relaxed steak night with friends. The al fresco terrace is a popular spot, with plenty of waiting staff to keep diners happy. One of Hunters’ USPs is its salt selection sourced from across the world – try a sprinkle on some bread and butter and you’ll realise it’s more than just a seasoning. Of the starters, the Ranger Valley beef carpaccio and the chicken liver parfait are well worth a try. As you walk in, you’ll likely spot the meat cabinet, especially the giant, 2.6kg double-bone tomahawk. But if you don’t fancy eating for four, the 27-day grain-fed Australian black onyx tenderloin should be your go-to – perfectly prepared and suitably satisfying. The USDA pure land black Angus filet mignon, meanwhile, is ideal for those looking for a lighter, fat-free slab of beef.
