Time Out Says
With both indoor and al fresco seating with a sprawling terrace overlooking Emirates Golf Club, we can think of worse places to enjoy a chic – albeit slightly quiet – drink during the cooler months.
With a fancier take on the usual bar food offerings, the menu is as sophisticated as its surroundings. We nibble on the house flatbread served with homemade ricotta, honey and pine nuts, which as simple as it sounds, is delicious.
Mushroom and Parmesan rolls with garlic aioli are also tasty, while lamb ribs with harissa and white bean purée are unfortunately overly fatty.
Food aside, the highlight is undoubtedly the selection of inventive juniper-based beverages, which are feature unusual ingredients such as tangerine tea, peppercorn, frankincense, thyme and yuzu.
The bar also runs a daily happy hour from 5pm until 8pm with 50 percent off select drinks, so it’s worth going early to see the sunset and enjoy a chilled evening.
Sit outside to make the most of the views while trying this elevated bar food.
