Time Out Says
What with it being set within the none-more-high-end Burj Al Arab, it should come as no surprise that this pan-Asian buffet restaurant doesn’t exactly come cheap. What will surprise you, though, is just how diverse its offering is – that aforementioned buffet featuring dishes from China, Japan, Korea and Thailand. The selections from each of these countries come in quickly refilled batches of small, moreish portions, many delivered by live cooking stations. Chinese noodle soup, Japanese sashimi and teppanyaki and more are prepared by chefs who, though they boast some seriously fancy moves, are not too high falutin to generally be happy to prepare something to order, should you ask nicely. Whatever you choose, the results are uniformly faultless, although the setting and service isn’t quite as five-star as many of the other outlets in the iconic hotel. Still, head there for lunch and the diverse culinary line-up and stunning sea views and are nonetheless quite something to behold.
