Trendy Asian restaurant with views of The Dubai Fountain
Time Out Says
Overlooking The Dubai Fountain, the setting of this dark, sleek venue is breathtaking. Book a table outside when the weather allows and enjoy the spectacular show (which never gets old). The inside is just as inviting, with its attention-grabbing dark brown, deep red, beige and purple décor. The menu offers a culinary journey across Asia, with some show-stopping highlights that staff are skilled enough to be able to recommend intuitively – just guide them through your likes, dislikes and what takes your fancy. Must-tries for any tastes are the “Karma Klassic” miso black cod, which is just the right balance of buttery, sticky and sweet, with delicately prepared fish that falls apart with the gentlest prod, and the delicious wagyu beef gyoza. The crisp, glazed dumplings are packed full of top-grade wagyu beef, shiitake mushrooms, celery, truffle oil and a decadent, rich foie gras, and topped with a sticky, sweet, kabayaki sauce. One portion simply will not be enough. This is the restaurant to visit if your aim is to impress. It looks stunning, the food is exquisite and everyone in your party will be blown away by those Fountain views.
