Time Out Says
Al Nasr Leisureland in Oud Metha is an area more suitable for affordable and casual dining, which fits Kiza Lounge well. From the moment you walk into the venue, Kiza has a sense of community about it, with a lot of the diners appearing to know each other. The music is lively and people often dance at their tables between courses. Kiza certainly has atmosphere, but is slightly lacking when it comes to food. The menu is divided into north, east, south and west Africa, with traditional dishes and specialities such as coconut beef stew, wataalamu soup and matumbo. Some dishes, such as the peppered beef gizzard, are tasty, but the chicken pasty can be a bit dry and tasteless. Certain menu items are sometimes unavailable as well, and service is not always up to scratch compared to most places in Dubai.
