La Cantine du Faubourg
Time Out Says
Dubai by way of Paris (fashion avenue 105 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, to be precise), this chic French eatery at Jumeirah Emirates Towers is an excellent place to dine.
In winter the expansive terrace is a wonderful place to take a seat and enjoy a drink and a meal. The twinkling lights are magical and the vibe is upbeat and fun.
The interiors are super-cool too, and the lounge area is a fun space for a pre-dinner drink or catch-up.
The steaks are expertly cooked, while the octopus is some of the best we’ve had in the city – tender, well salted and perfectly charred. It pairs expertly with ratte potatoes and a tangy yuzu dressing.
Lamb chops are another tasty choice for meat-eaters.
Looking for comfort food? The coquillettes des enfants is a creamy, cheesy, truffly dream that has to be tried, while the truffly leek risotto is also a hit.
Whether you’re there for a late-night dinner with a group of party-loving friends, a romantic dinner date with your partner or enjoying the lazy Saturday brunch with your family (if you haven’t been, try it, trust us, the pastries are well worth getting out of bed for), you’re sure to have a wonderful experience.
