La Petite Maison
Time Out Says
The restaurant in DIFC is always busy, usually with a post-work crowd hovering around the bar, too.
Tables are close together, the vibe is bustling and there’s a buzz of chatter in the air. It feels fancy, yet not forced, and you’re sure to have a good night as well as a good meal. Whether you want to impress a business client, visiting family or a loved one, it will come up trumps.
Service is a well-oiled machine, staff know their stuff and the menu, so you’re as well asking their advice.
Ingredients are super-fresh and dishes are classic. The much-talked about lamb cutlets deserve the lip service. Perfectly pink and buttery soft, they’re the best in the city. The octopus carpaccio is an interesting dish if you’re a seafood fan, while the salads are always excellent too.
Throw calorie counting to the wind and indulge in a dish of Dauphinoise potatoes – creamy, rich and indulgent, they’re as dreamy as they sound.
Vegan? No problems. La Petite Maison has even introduced a special plant-based menu (which is possibly surprising for a cuisine based so heavily around meat and dairy).
If you love French food, La Petite Maison is a must-try.
