Time Out Says

A light-filled café in the heart of Downtown, Bagatelle is a popular place for lunch, with lighter offerings than many of its burger boy neighbours. Savvy Dubai Mall shoppers looking to beat the lunchtime rush should step out onto Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard to this nearby alternative, serving up pressed juices, decent coffee and a vast selection of light bites and mains. Served in soft, freshly-baked bread, the sandwiches are your best bet – skip the cheesy beef baguette in favour of the vegetarian option (trust us). Served between two door-stopper wedges of fluffy, yielding wholemeal loaf is a fresh, crunchy, tasty mix of labneh, cucumbers, alfalfa and tomatoes – filling without a side of food-coma. Do save room for a side of fried cubed potatoes – just don’t blame us if you can’t stop scoffing them. A very pleasing pit stop, with a not-unreasonable price-tag.
