Time Out Says
Fine-dining meets fusion here, where you’ll often find live music, top-notch mixed drinks and dishes that verge on the weird and wonderful (but brilliant).
Indicative of Masti’s fusion approach is the Indian-meets-Middle Eastern tempered green peas ricotta kofta.
This is one of the best, quirkiest dishes on a menu that’s absolutely chock full of them. Three fried cones stuffed full of a pea and ricotta mix are served up and accompanied by a spicy curried broccoli Serrano sauce. Its spice levels are not for the faint-hearted, but it’s a knockout.
The real headline grabber for this Indian restaurant, which it must be said includes the likes of pulled tandoori chicken bao buns and quail egg kofta, has to be the burrata and butter chicken pizza. Don’t judge it until you’ve tried it, because this is surprisingly excellent.
Dishes are presented with flare and a design-conscious touch so expect props, dry ice and more.
It’s a perception-busting ride, with dishes that also include ceviche, stracciatella butter chicken and even kheema kebab popsicles.
Head along for the brilliant food and stay for the live music and pumping atmosphere.
